Jerald E. Johnson, President and Primary Associate Appraisers Association of America









After five years apprentice-ship with a senior appraiser in the Washington Metro Area, Mr. Johnson founded Johnson-Ventino Appraisals in 1990 in Washington, DC and a decade later became incorporated as National Appraisals LLC in 2001.

Some of our important former clients have included:

  • estate documentation for a former Secretary of Defense which included considerable important political (Presidential) memorabilia from both the Kennedy and Johnson administrations
  • estate documentation for a former President of the World Bank, to include gifts from international dignitaries and heads of state (African tribal art, archaeological pottery, and more)
  • documentation of gifts from foreign dignitaries for the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Commerce
